I am a doctoral student the University of Washington Information School. In my research, I am examining the role of large-scale digitization projects in the democratization of information access. How can we maximize the social benefit such projects can offer? And prior to that, how can we operationalize what those benefits are, and what maximizing them would look like?
If you want to know more about me professionally, here’s my abbreviated CV.
Outside of work, I am an avid consumer of pop culture, I love to cook, bake, and build things, and since I moved to Washington, I’ve gotten the hiking bug in a big way: in fact, last summer, I climbed Mt. Rainier (though the photo below is on Mt. Adams).
